About Heartland Sign

Odegard Sign had been a leader in on-premise signage and outdoor advertising in the Kansas City metro for nearly 30 years when Worldwide Energy, Inc., acquired the company in 2013 to expand our ability to help our clients.

Over the last 8 years, our capabilities and our vision of how we can best serve our clients has changed and grown and we believe that Heartland Sign and Lighting, Inc. more closely identifies our mission.

We hold a Master Sign hanger’s license and electrical contracting license and our team is made up of highly skilled fabricators, installers and service technicians along with certified crane operators. We routinely service a 100 mile radius of Kansas City, and have performed large installations as far away as St. Louis, Wichita, Des Moines and Dallas.

We help our clients throughout the entire process from design and permitting to fabrication and installation to make sure the entire process is completed on time and without surprises.

Our Design department can work with you to design your Sign, window vinyl, trailer or vehicle wrap. Just send us your logo and color scheme and we’ll provide you up to 3 options to choose from.

Exterior/Interior Lighting Services

With our high reach trucks, we can service your parking lot fixtures, and provide a budget to upgrade your fixtures with Bright, Energy Efficient LED fixtures to improve safety and visibility.

Our crews can upgrade your entire lighting system to high efficiency, high visibility LED fixtures in a complete, turnkey process. We’ll remove and recycle your existing lighting and install new fixtures with the little to no disruption to your business operations. We can also assist you with utility rebates.

Flagpole Maintenance & Repair

Our knowledgeable and experienced staff is ready to assist you in choosing the right flagpole and installation method for your specific project. We service flagpoles of all sizes.

Sign Maintenance & Repair

If your Sign is not lighting or damaged, our experienced technicians can rapidly diagnose and fix the problem. With our GPS enabled trucks, we can get to your repair quickly and we’ll diagnose and provide a budget for a fixed service call price.

Sign Removal & Disposal

From Pylon to billboard, wall sign or interior sign, we will remove your sign, make safe the electrical, patch wall penetrations, and haul away and dispose of your sign, quickly and cost effectively.

Sign Moving & Storage

If you are doing repairs or painting your building or moving to a new facility and want to take your sign with you, let Heartland remove, store and reinstall your sign. We can even retrofit your sign to LED illumination and paint and refurbish your sign while we have it. And we can work with your schedule to streamline the process.
